The Details:
It's 48 at the house. It's a little cool but it's sunny! Yay!! I'm waiting for news about my Mom's condition. In the meantime we are still preparing as if we are leaving for Spain (Barcelona) this coming Saturday.
The Practice:
I went out to The Driveway around mid-morning to practice.
I started with a full round of The 10+ focused on consistency and health. Note: Anytime of exercise, Qigong or Neigong that is intended to be used medically (for health) must be practiced on the same schedule as any other medication i. e. Daily! It had been a couple of days since I did a full round of The 10+ (I've been doing other types of exercise to 'warm up') So I was due to get back to them before too much time goes by.
Next I did a round of Taiji Double Dao using my wooden broadswords. I tuned into the 'around the head' techniques for shoulder, elbow and hand health.
Next I did a round of Taiji Jian using my metal Jian Sword. I focused on the tip and using my waist throughout the form.
Next I did Lazy D with my left hand.
Next I did a round of Taiji Staff using my thin wooden Staff focused on sequence and agility. I did this form on both right and left sides.
Next I did a Round (right side) reciting the Taiji Classics during Part II. I tuned into observing the principles from a meditative point of view. I attempted to be equanimous when I noticed something (anything).
Next I did a round of The 21 Qigong tuned into TL Breathing and connecting my breathe to the movements.
I finished with Healing Qigong as I returned to the house to journal my practice to this blog.
