The Photo:
In a rare noon time practice on the north beach. I decided to pass on the sunrise practice this morning. I was up late and wanted to exercise some variation in my routine. I had a heck of a time getting Big Bertha's (our beach truck) beach pass activated. It seems as the pass expired in Nov. I haven't taken the truck on the beach all season. So I thought it was about time. I did eventually get all the documents together to satisfy those folks in the toll booths. Oy! They had their rule book out!!
The Practice:
I really noticed the difference in the feel of the practice at mid day compared to sunrise. One thing I immediately noticed is that it was HOT and very sunny. There was a steady east wind. I practiced on the soft sand, because there was a steady stream of cars going to and from the 'point'. Very busy on the beach all the way back too!
I'll be practicing at sunrise again tomorrow!
I did a full warm up with The 10+ followed by a Round (right side) focused on not getting distracted by the passersby. Heads up, eyes down at 45 degrees!
