The Details:
It's 64 at the house and it's sunny. It's forecast to be in the 90's this afternoon. I've got an 11:00am guitar lesson (rescheduled from yesterday) here in Leyden (update it's been cancelled, he's having car trouble). A J is coming at 4:30 to pick up the payment for this past winter's plowing.
The Practice:
I started with guitar practice.
Around mid-morning I went out to The Driveway to practice.
I started with a couple of rounds of Monkey Staff, but lost the sequence about half way through. Oy! I kept trying but the reality is; I need to do this form more regularly.
Next I did a round of Low Family Staff tuned into agility and mobility.
Next I did a full round of The 10+ tuned into consistency, strength, flexibility, agility, breathing and overall health.
Next I did a Round (right side) reciting the Taiji Classics during Part I. It was a disjointed round as I kept stopping to shoo away the carpenter bees.
Next I went out to my main practice area and did a round of Cheng Style Baguazhang's Yin/Yang Walking exercise. I focused on the amount that I would like to do. I settled on 8 repetitions of the pattern. I focused on feeling my feet and hips and letting the counting of steps be automatic (No Mind)
Next I did a round of Anyo Isa focused on sequence, flow, light body during the progressive steps and using good quality basics throughout the Anyo.
Next I did a round on Naihanchi Kata focused on the changes that I've made to this Kata.
I finished with Healing Qigong before returning to the house to journal my practice in this blog.
