The Photo:
Today's sunrise was a wash out (again) with very heavy cloud cover. It did lighten as the sun came up.
Sunrise was at 7:19 and low tide was at 9:00. It's still cold (mid 50's). There was a stiff (20-25 mph) north wind that made it not very attractive to practice near the water line. Even though there was plenty of hard packed sand near the water line, I had to retreat to soft sand right near the dunes. I used the 21st Ave WalkOver and the new sea wall at Las Brisas as a wind block. I was determined to practice on the beach at sunrise. So I found a way to make it work.
The Practice:
Once I determined I'd have to find some wind block, I found a small square of soft sand up near the dunes to practice on.
I started with a shortened version of The 10+ to warm up.
Next I did a Round (right side). I recited the Tai-Chi Classics during Part I. I did a '4 square feet' round, attempting to stay in the lee out of the wind.
Next I did a Standing Meditation session using Holding the Moon and Play Guitar (on both sides) cultivating natures energies while contemplating the horizon.
Next I reviewed Anyo Tatlo (#4) and Wansu Kata focused on the variety of movements and agility.
Next I did a Healing Qigong
Then back to the house for breakfast and to pick up the house for the cleaners that are coming at 11.
