Exercises for finger and hand health: To Open the Joints using Opposing Movements & Self Joint Locking for Health

One of the main goals for health is to train for more space in all the joints, as opposed to exercises that compress the joints or close them. One of the first goals in Qigong/Neigong training; Your joints (sometimes referred to as 'gates') are opened. Releasing all tension in the soft tissue, from head to toe;

"Ice to Water, Water to Gas"

When the joints are 'opened' Synovial Fluid can optimally enter the joints. Synovial Fluid is the bodies natural lubricant for the joints. Too much tension closes the joints. Only with proper relaxation/release will the joints open.
The traditional sayings are:
"Hang the muscles, Open the joints"

"Muscle down, Bone up"
