My early morning set up; Sony a5000 mirrorless camera on a tripod.
After shooting the sunrise I use the tripod to practice Bagua Zhang around and as a set point for training Gary P. in Modern Arnis.
Great practice this morning; Gary's working on the coordination for Single Sinawalli bringing the retracting hand to low or high guard/chamber. Also, working on the flow (circling) in Redonda. More work on stance and the basic Arnis Cane Warmups. Introduced Abanico Double Action and various applications. Also Double Zero and reverse figure 8.
Gary's doing really well. Were going to go back to the 10 exercises and Standing Meditation next week.
Hope you're enjoying your health and martial practices.

My NSB practice spot, at the 22nd Ave Boardwalk this morning, was on fire!
It was the coldest day of the season so far with a strong wind coming in from the north....Brrr! But the sky was on fire!!
Had a great practice with Gary P. - Worked on coordinating right and left hand, stance work and body shifting in Single Sinawalli. Then went on to work on the circling flow of Redonda. Gary's making steady progress. Today was lesson #35
