Thursday Practice

The Details:

It's 59 at the house. The sunrise was at 7:30. The high tide was at 9:46 (2.6').

Notes:

I sent Dylan a text this morning wishing him all the best defending his dissertation.

The Practice:

It was cool and very windy (N N/E). The tide was high and still coming in. There were very few folks on the beach; all tourists that I'll never see again.

I started with a brief Warm Up focused on stretching fascia and connective tissue.

Next I did a Round (left side) tuned into 'observing' and connecting the natures big battery (The Atlantic Ocean)

Next I did a full round of Standing Meditation using all 8 Postures then Healing Qigong.

Next I did a round of Yin Style Baguazhang 8 Palms Changes 5-8 (both sides). I was focused on using the correct sequence. I had a little glitch at #8 but I stuck with it until I got it right. Using the correct sequence is extra important at 75! IMHO sequence is important at the beginning and then again as we age. You would think that after decades it wouldn't be an issue but alas you still need to 'do it'. Making a video is a way to 'cheat' if you forget, but you still have to 'do it'.

It was too cold and windy to continue so I returned to the house to eat breakfast and help Ginnie decide about the Hotel and Car Rental for the first and last day in Bari, Italy.
