The Details:
I'ts 61 at the house. The sunrise was at 5:23. It's a beautiful day out there.
Notes:
It's an overnight plane ride on ITA to Rome....Then transfer to a packed plane to Bari, where we stay overnight and get our rental car from Avis. On Tuesday we drive to Matera for 3 nights.
My journaling of my practice will be a little spotty for the next couple of weeks. I'm not bringing a computer on this trip. If I get a chance I'll post, otherwise it will be a couple of weeks. My main task is to stay consistent with a 'Round a Day'.
The Practice:
I practiced outside in my main practice spot (above)
I started with a brief Warm Up
Next I did a round of Yin Style Baguazhang 8 Palms Changes 5-8 (both sides) reciting the names of the postures out loud. I was able to get through all the Changes (with a few exceptions and/or questions)
Next I did a Round (right side) reciting the Taiji Classics. Contemplating 'neither hollow nor projection' and adjusting 'Deflect Parry and Punch' by using my waist to Parry and waiting to shift forward until the Punch starts.
Next I did a brief Standing and Healing Qigong
Next I did a round of Anyo Apat focused on full extension of Basics and application (at the end)
Next I did a round of Kusanku Kata tuned into agility and mobility.
