Monday December 1st Practice - Day 8,920

The Details:

It's 61 at the house. The sunrise was at 7:01. The high tide was at 5:15. Day # 8, 920! These last 1,000 days have seemed incredibly long, very slow to come. Like watching water boil? There was a steady breeze coming in from the N N/E. I brought my Cannon down for the first time today and was concerned with the breeze when I had it on the tripod. I have had the tripod and camera fall over in a steady breeze.

Note: I said hi to Matt and Lisa and waved when they came back north. I also wave to Doris and Janice and a few other tourists as they passed by.

The Practice:

I started with a full round of The 10+ focused on getting a facial stretch from the base of my skull to my tail bone and from my tail bone to the sole's of my feet. Whole body with just the right amount of facial stretch (careful not to contract muscles to get it happening.

Next I did a Round (right side) reciting the Taiji Classics during Part I. I remained focused on feeling the facial stretching that I was tuned into in my Warm Ups. I also paid attention to Relaxed Balance.

Next I did Standing and Healing Qigong. 

Next I did a round of Anyo Isa focused on adding more power and pop to my basic punches and kicks. I added a little leap to the progressive steps portion of the form.

Next I did a round of Seisan Kata tuned into adding power and speed.

I returned to the house to eat breakfast, process photos and journal today's practices

I'm hoping I can do a round of the Weapons Forms in the backyard. It's just too much to bring weapons to the beach for sunrise along with tripod and camera. I need to figure out a different timing on doing them.

I took a Qigong Walk north (I'm addicted) adding another Walk Over past The Pelican Condos. This is the beginning of week #5. I plan on adding one walk every Monday. I did mobility stretches and The Dragons Back. When I got back to 21st Ave I did a round of Yin style Baguazhang 8 Linking Palms (both sides) Changes 1-4 focused on the quality of my postures, Relaxed Balance and mobility and agility. I did a session on the Walk Over before returning home to start on supper. We're making burritos tonight. Yum!
